NOVICE TRAINING (NEW OPERATOR)

Basic training is designed for trainees with little or no experience. Will cover the knowledge and skills needed to safely operate the type of lift truck, with varying loads, pallets or stillages(metal carriers used for loose items) this is delivered on site, around your warehouse. Training done off the job. Normally 3 - 5 days. After Basic training completed then should carry out Specific and Familiarisation

REFRESHER (Existing operator with Certificate)

Course that is condensed into one day, covering Theory and Practical, designed for existing lift truck operators, produce documentary evidence of previous training and testing. Lift truck operators are recommended to attend this course at 3 year intervals. Normally 1 day

CONVERSION TRAINING (Existing operator with Certificate changing from one group to another)

EG: Counterbalance (CB) operator Converting to use and operate a Reach truck, as the Reach is significantly different than a CB. Training will extend the range of lift trucks that an experienced operator is qualified to drive. Relevant different safe working procedures associated with working aisles and high bay storage. Normally 1 to 3 days.

EXPERIENCED OPERATOR (Uncertified)

For student/s that has used a Fork Lift before with prior experience in operating lift trucks, that have: moved truck, lifted loads to various heights, had In- House training and might not have documentation of proof of training. Normally 2 – 3 days

Working in Oxford, on Reach (D2) High Level over 9 metres in High racking space up to 13 metres, in addition Counterbalance (B1) with a High Mast, 6500mm, Telehandler fitted with a Fork Positioner. This Attachment allows pallets to also stack High, in Racking, in wider Aisles to assist with saving space. The Reach with Double Deep Attachment can then utilise Reach truck Aisles to stack up to 13 metres. LLOP (Low Level OrderPickers) and PPT used for picking orders from ground locations.
